To Ariake tennis court.
First visit to the court, even if its big roof is a familiar one.

58. Iruma airshow
Went to Iruma, on Nov. 3rd, this year too.
Said to be more than 320,000 spectators, and was difficult to enter into the premise.
On their way home, many were performing high-touches (?) with SDF members.
Public perception toward SDF has indeed changed.

57. Painting works
The tower looks like under repainting.
I had worried that Tokyo El. Power might be unable to continue various maintenance works on its installations. No worries.
The morning after, a half side completed.
In the evening, they must be enjoying beer at home.

56. Peanut harvest
Seems to be a time for harvesting peanuts.
Until very recently, I did not know peanuts grew like this and were harvested in this manner.

55. Clay pigeon shooting / National sports festival
Though the national sports festival looks being held in Tokyo this year, a game for clay pigeon shootings was held at a nearby town.
All signboards there bore unfamiliar words "Sports festival Tokyo 2013". It turned out to be the national sports festival.
Umm. I have had no chance to practice shooting a gun.

Today's special is this US-2 from MSDF Atsugi.
Seen from the front, the upper half is that for an airplane and the lower half for a vessel hull.
This is a low-key airshow with no appearance of ASDF's Blue-Impulse. However it gives us a good chance to look into the details of the exhibited aircraft.。

Next is The 1st Airborne Brigade of GSDF Narashino.
For today, descent from CH-47.。

Shimofusa air festival was held on Sep. 28th, saturday, the 54th anniversary of its opening.
The first is P3-C of Air Training Group

51. Akatonbo (red dragonfly)

50. Harvest moon
Today is August 15th in the lunar calendar (the day for tsukimi, moon-viewing, usually with a setup of susuki plume grass and odango, rice cakes as in the photo).
This year, I could find out and bring about the right susuki grass, without collecting look-alike grasses.
Odango are from OT-dou as usual.
Evening weather was fine and we could see a round full moon.
